Astronomer here! I’m down if they not only restore the science funding but double it. Turns out I can be bribed to go to the IAU and vote for the designation change and it’s cheaper than a day of bombing Iran.

the reclassification of it to be a dwarf planet makes sense, and it wasn’t NASA’s decision to reclassify it the first time, all this is going to do is waste money and annoy everyone else
