An astronaut has created a personal art museum from her view of Earth.

Expedition 74 flight engineer and NASA astronaut Jessica Meir snapped incredible and surreal astronaut photos of Algeria from the International Space Station (ISS).

She said Monday (April 27): “Passing over Algeria on the International Space Station always feels like a trip to an art museum. Which one is your favorite?”

Algeria is the largest country in Africa, dominated by the vast Sahara Desert, with dramatic sand dunes, rocky plateaus and a Mediterranean coastline.
