HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A major milestone in Space Command’s move from Colorado to Huntsville is happening this week.
On Wednesday, Redstone Arsenal will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for its first dedicated operational Space Command facility on the Garrison.
Many more facilities are under construction.
This move has been more than six years in the making. After years of political and legal wrangling, it appears the Space Command relocation is going to stick.
