Depends on the reason they are here. I personly think they see more the potential of what we can become than what we are.

“Young” planet, with hostile inhabitants that can’t co-exist peacefully. If there are other planets worth visiting, then Earth likely is at the bottom of that list or “Only if you must”.

The question you should ask first is what are they, back then they were called sky gods, then fairies and now aliens, blending into cultural narratives. This means they are deceptive, trying to blend in to cause confusion, there are often trade deals involved for knowledge so they have goals attached to it. They see earth as a game for them to control, seeing earthlings as the lesser species almost like how we see animals living in a zoo.
