Early reports indicate that NASA is progressing with crew selection for the Artemis III mission, scheduled to launch mid-2027 for Orion docking with Starship or Blue Moon HLS and potential lunar AxEMU spacesuit testing.

Speculated crew members include Anne McClain, Matthew Dominick, Andre Douglas, and Matthias Maurer, with emphasis on experienced astronauts possessing flight and EVA expertise.

  1. Hey, anyone know why the lady astro near the middle has a red patch? What’s that mean?

  2. Frank Rubio would be cool since he’s holding the longest record for a single space flight by an American

I know it won’t happen, but I wish it was the team currently on Artemis II. They’re so damned personable. Victor always comes through with a dynamite comment on how there should be a oneness amongst humanity instead division, and watching him test fly the capsule he was stone cold on point. Christine is wonderfully gung-ho, smart, and positive . Reid is the type of leader you want with plenty of atta-boys for his team and seems comfortable letting his team take credit. Jeremy is the kind of guy who seems like the Swiss Army knife guy who can do about anything, and so unassuming. Plus, they seem to exemplify team in a remarkable way.

I’m going to miss having them to watch and vicariously adventure with.

  4. **Primary crew**: Johnny Kim, Jessica Watson, Katherine Bennell-Pegg, Hoshide Akihiko

**Backup crew**: Don Pettitt, Zena Cardman, Samantha Cristoforetti, Onishi, Takuya

  5. Probably have the doctor astronaut military guy go in case to fight aliens or give Heimlich

  6. Integrity crew has talked about training together for several years. Have the III and IV crews been chosen but not announced yet?

Just because I haven’t seen him listed, Woody Hoburg would be cool. His dad and mine worked together and we played together a bit as kids. 🙂

  8. I’m thinking Jonny Kim, the Navy Seal, Doctor, mathematician will be the commander for Artemis four.

  9. Part of me hopes it’s an all woman crew, just to watch a certain amount of people explode in rage

I don’t believe this is the whole stable.

I assume Victor Glover is going back, due to his experience piloting on 2.

  11. Astronaut Trump and Kosmonaut Putin on a rescheduled flight towards the sun ofcourse. The first humans to land on the sun! How amazing they said.

  12. Johnny Kim is trying for the Most Accomplished Human in History award. I wouldn’t mind seeing him get to add “Stood on Moon” to his resume.
