On July 22, 2025, a NASA scientist who specialized in nuclear propulsion projects was discovered deceased in his vehicle after an apparent fiery wreck in Huntsville around 2:45 p.m.

According to a report from Fox News, Joshua LeBlanc, 29, struck a guardrail and multiple trees while driving before the vehicle ignited, allegedly killing LeBlanc and burning his body past the point of initial recognition. LeBlanc departed his residence prior to the fatal wreck without his wallet and phone.

On the morning of his death, LeBlanc’s vehicle, a Tesla, was reportedly parked at Huntsville International Airport for four hours, per the Tesla’s Sentry Mode data.

LeBlanc was reported missing at 4:32 a.m. on July 22 by his parents after he failed to communicate with them and report to work at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. The family said that LeBlanc’s plans for the day did not include his route west.

LeBlanc’s death is now drawing suspicion after widespread public speculation connected him to almost a dozen other prominent American researchers, scientists and officials who have also suspiciously died or disappeared in recent years.

Among the group was a top anti-gravity technology researcher residing in Huntsville who allegedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, after expressing concern for her safety.
