And I find it incredibly weird that Vance takes the obverse stance. He thinks that it’s weird to describe otherworldly things as aliens instead of demons. Wut?
He and people who think like him has no self-awareness, in my opinion. I think filtering the world through a 2,000 year old ideology before first engaging with phenomenon with our senses and intellect is not going to help anyone understand anything. It didn’t work then and it won’t work now.
