While it does look like a bat (the Pokémon Golbat in particular) from a landscape view, IC 1340 will always be a Xenomorph portrait to me. I wanted to get some deep hydrogen to bring out the faint outer whisps, but maybe that was too much to ask for my skies. I tossed in a little sulfur to add some gold to the mostly HOO color palette.
