Wait so was Artemis II planned around this event, among other things? I just thought the ”eclipse” they saw was simply due to the crafts orbit around the backside of the moon.
I watched it! Went to Hamilton, Ontario!
April 8 is my birthday, and that was the best party ever
That might have been the coolest things I have ever experienced. I only wished my kids were older so they could have truly appreciated it.
In terms of a natural wonder or event, the most incredible event I’ve ever witnessed. I had incredibly high expectations and they were blown away. It sounds ridiculous, but because of all of the atmospheric effects (the temperature suddenly dropping, the quality of light being very odd leading up to totality and then the sudden darkness, the weird shadows, the animals going quiet), it was a near religious experience. I was completely transfixed.
I saw it from Cape girardeau, MO. Had a great view.
I remember this day, it was one of the last few days I was working at Menards. I was a cart pusher and was actively being forced out of the job by shit management but at least I got prime viewing for the eclipse.
Saw it in Mason, Texas!
Been there
I drove from Kansas to Arkansas spontaneously to go see it in totality! Such a life changing experience, so glad I went.
Was in Vermont — excellent!
I thought that this was today and was confused why I didn’t hear about it
I can’t see myself in this photo (it was cloudy in Niagara Falls)
Oh it’s only the solar eclipse over North America, nothing interesting as it seems.
How interesting—this scene.

That’s SCP 169
