Not enough information to tell. How large? Which direction? How high in the sky? How bright? Moving or stationary?

Brightest natural objects in the sky right now: the Moon, Jupiter, and Sirius.

  2. This is an out of focus point source, probably just a star.

Any camera does this when a light source is out of focus

  3. Try turning the focus knob until it is a single point. This is a severely out of focus star.

I’ll go out again and try and get a better picture of it.

    Edit: I broke my telescope

  5. That’s a cell phone image of a bright dot. You’ve “zoomed in” except what that means on a camera with a fixed focal length lens , is that you’ve cropped it to hell.

    It’s just a bright dot.
