Another familiar DSO from my fall 2025 projects.

Horsehead Nebula (Barnard 33/ IC 434) and the Flame Nebula (NGC 2024). This image captures the interface between ionized hydrogen and dense molecular dust within the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex. The Horsehead appears as a thick dust pillar silhouetted against the brightness of the Ha region, while the Flame Nebula is illuminated by ultraviolet radiation from the supergiant and bright star, Alnitak.

Clear skies!
