Since I took my Double Milky Way arch a couple of years ago, I always imagined how a Double Milky Way arch with perfect reflections would look like in a flooded Death Valley.

After an unusually wet winter, this year's conditions aligned, and the new moon in March offered me the chance to take this dream shot.

The experience was surreal, being under a beautiful night sky and surrounded by perfect reflections, as there was no wind.

This is one of the most challenging images I've taken and edited, especially putting together 4 different panoramas taken during the entire night.

I just posted a video on Youtube with the entire process behind the image showing how I captured and put this together. Enjoy it!
