This is a second run with some exposures of the North American Nebula I took on 11/27/2024. I have learned a bit more and have improved my work flow in the past year and this is significantly better than my first attempt. Original acquisition info:
Backyard in Alaska, bortle 4
Unmodified Canon Rebel T6, 135mm rokinon, f2.0, ISO 6400
206 1.6 second untracked exposures. 49 darks, 40 flats, 60 bias.
Work flow this time around: Siril OSC pre-processing script, Crop, background extraction, plate solve, photometric color calibration, starnet star removal, asinh stretch, histogram stretch, curve adjustments, saturation adjustments, star recombination, final asinh stretch, another crop.
Im pretty happy with this especially since I dont have a modified camera. Its a vast improvement over my first attempt imo.

Wow, nice one! Pretty impressive on an unmodified camera.
