My husband recorded these videos from our patio in Abbotsford, BC on Friday morning, May 8, between approximately 5:09 AM and 5:35 AM.
In the videos you can hear his live commentary as he tries to figure out what he’s looking at. He repeatedly comments that it doesn’t look like the moon or a star because of how bright and unusually large it appeared in the sky.
What stood out:
completely stationary for over 20 minutes
no blinking or aircraft-style lights
remained visible as the sky brightened before sunrise
then suddenly disappeared shortly after 5:35 AM
appeared much larger in person than the screenshots capture

I’m uploading the actual videos rather than screenshots so the progression and commentary can be seen/heard directly.
Mostly just curious if anyone else in the Fraser Valley saw this that morning or has any ideas what it could have been.

I have four other videos showing the object not moving and then it’s just gone.. can I add those videos to the post or even the comments ?

These are original videos recorded by my partner from our patio in Abbotsford, BC between approximately 5:09 AM and 5:35 AM on May 8. The object appeared extremely bright, stationary, and unusually large in person. It remained fixed in the same position through dawn and then disappeared shortly after sunrise. In the videos you can hear his live commentary as he tries to figure out what he’s looking at and rules out possibilities like the moon, planes, or stars based on how it appeared in real time. We are posting mainly to see if anyone else witnessed it or has a possible explanation.

You should have seen it a week ago when it was full!
This one is stationary. Have you noticed many other UFO videos look like it must be teenage aliens out joyriding in daddy’s spaceship? So many go back and forth. Left and right in a nonsense manner.
