In the first set of 162 files dropped by the Department of War, the government has declassified several unresolved cases related to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena or UAPs. One of the intriguing cases is from the 10th spaceflight ever by humanity when NASA astronauts Jim Lovell and Frank Borman embarked on the Gemini VII mission. It was the fourth crewed Gemini flight, where Lovell and Borman spent 14 days in space orbiting the Earth. They made a total of 206 orbits. The mission was launched on the 4th of December. 1965 and splashdown on December 18, 1965. On the 5th of December, astronaut Borman noted something unexpected and reported it to the ground control in Houston.

This is an excerpt from the complete transcript of the Gemini VII mission, highlighting the segment in which Astronaut Frank Borman reports seeing an unidentified object. It includes identification of the NASA recording number and handwritten notes documenting which portions of the mission audio appear on the accompanying recording.
The bogey as described by the astronauts was never identified or tracked. The Gemini VII astronauts remarked that the objects were moving towards the polar orbit. No adversarial nation ever claimed space probes or debris regarding the sightings. Here’s a complete transcript of the audio:
