My experience

On July 11th 2024 at around 11:30 at night I went to take my electric scooter for a ride because it was new at the time and I wanted to test out the light at night. My dad came out as well tto see how the scooter ran and while I was stopped outside of my house I looked into the sky and saw this. I instantly pulled out my phone and started recording on Snapchat hence the terrible camera quality ( might also have something to do with the fact that I have a Motorola). Upside of recording on Snapchat I have the exact times I noticed this thing at 11:37 and 3 minutes later at 11:40 I have another video of the same part of the sky and it's gone. I was still watching it after the video stopped recording and I saw it disappear. My camera really did not do it justice because as the time went on it got closer until it looked to be like a small Moon of burning circling rings but not long after it got close enough to where I could see it clearly it shot off to the left. I don't claim to know what this thing is all I know is that I've never seen something this bright orange in the sky before or anything that has moved like that in the sky. It is pretty clear around here and there are a lot of planes but this is different. I would honestly think that I hallucinated the whole thing if my dad wasn't outside with me and I didn't capture it on video. I genuinely do not know how to describe how I felt looking at this thing and how small I now feel looking out into the sky.
