Does Starlink fly in V formations ? I just saw it in the sky. Spotted when pretty much right above me and gone towards the horizon and city lights in about 15-20 seconds. Two V formations like in the pic. No stobe lights. About as bright as dim star. Colour : yellow-orange. Direction : from south to north
I did not manage to get a photo, was fumbling with my phone and only managed to get a short video of my thumb illuminated with torch, so at least I know the time is exact.

Hi, hope this is good place to ask. So yeah. Saw this tonight about 40 minutes ago. Never seen anything like it before which is why I am here. I could say I spent time watching night sky, was interested in astronomy as a kid.
Possibly a fighter or bomber formation on a patrol since active war zone not that far away ? No noise whatsover, no trail.
Edit : not two formations, one formation shaped as two letters V next to each other, that’s what I meant.
could it have been geese?
Starlink do not fly in V formations, no. Birds do though.
