Thank goodness! Very smooth splashdown.
Silly question- is there a reason one parachute has a different pattern than the other two?

We flung humans into the void, and from the void they have hence returned. We sure can accomplish amazing things when we work together, and it’s beautiful. 🥲

I hope this really eases worries about the Orion heat shield that so many in the space community and so many conspiracy theory channels were freaking out about. I remember people saying “Cancel the launch!” and accusing NASA of being callous murderers for going ahead with a crewed Artemis II. I really hope this means their fixes worked! Even though they do plan more fixes before Artemis III.

How long will it take to get them out of the capsule?

Ground crew taking a long time to put the “front porch” on. You would think this was practiced more before the actual event.
