Italy’s seasoned underground producer bridges emotional trance and explosive techno on his new two-track debut for Dreamstate Records.
Italian producer Frankyeffe touches down on Dreamstate Records with his label debut, ‘Your Dream’ EP, a two-track display of his twist on modern trance, out now.
After countless years becoming a treasure trove for high-impact underground techno, Rome’s unremitting Frankyeffe continues to explore new heights by hurtling himself into the hearts of the trance and hard dance community. For his first outing with Dreamstate, his trusted genre-defying talents are in full effect.
The title cut “Your Dream” is a nu trance number pointed at the pinnacle of his two biggest inspirations. Between the thumping, fast-paced techno percussion and its pummeling, euphoric trance leads, the track has all the markings of what has made him a prolific force dating back to 2001. Cinematic synths and suspenseful vocal narration build tension in its breakdown, pushing partygoers to pursue their personal aspirations as if there’s no tomorrow.
“We Are Together” provides a darker, more discerning contrast to the affair. Hushed spoken-word slices through the void with its cinematic narration, depicting an impenetrable aura protecting two soulmates. Celestial harps and pulsing basslines converge as a hallmark of ‘90s trance, while growling acid licks and ploughing drums highlighting the message that love conquers all.
Speaking to how the release captures key components of his artistry, Frankyeffe shares, “‘Your Dream’ is an EP I’ve wanted to make for a long time. With its trance sound, it perfectly represents my emotional, powerful, and deep sound.”
Frankyeffe has a reputation of being a veritable workhorse in the studio. He’s put his name on a mountain of releases spanning the last two decades, with everything from driving techno to adrenaline-spiking trance all tracing his astounding reinvention and innovation. Markus Schulz, MDDLTN, Mauro Picotto, Deborah De Luca, Enrico Sangiuliano, and Teenage Mutants are but a few of the like-minded artists he’s released with along the way. His remix abilities are also highly coveted, having reworked music from legends such as Ferry Corsten, Jam & Spoon, and Dave Seaman. On the live front, Frankyeffe has graced the stages of renowned festivals around the world, including Tomorrowland, Time Warp, Luminosity, Awakenings, and a recent debut at Hï Ibiza.
With his new ‘Your Dream’ EP, Frankyeffe continues to elevate his presence in the modern trance scene, with two polished club tracks heralding the next evolution of one of Italy’s most enduring talents.
Traversing the winding passages of his own cavernous capabilities, prolific Italian DJ, producer and label owner Frankyeffe is well on his way to reaching the peak of his towering potential. Since his career’s 2001 inception, he’s wandered some of the darkest corners of Melodic Techno, injecting innovation and amplitude and gradually cementing himself as a true master within his own class.
Initially rising to prominence behind the decks of Rome’s renowned Rashomon Club, for three consecutive seasons, the venue’s intimate interior provided a vast canvas for Frankyeffe to draw upon. Soon sparking the interests of a wider audience, he’s since reached international recognition playing at various Mutate events in Naples, the Audio Club in Geneva, Germany’s Audiogate festival in 2017 and a monster slot on the Pryda stage at 2018’s instalment of Tomorrowland in Belgium. Stretching his reach further to high profile gigs in the UK, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Columbia and China his music is fast becoming a global force to be reckoned with.
‘Trust Me’ is released in July 2021 which is highly appreciated by the public and many djs, but ‘Save Me’ arrives in November, a real success for Frankyeffe, played all over the world in the most important festivals such as Ultra, Tomorrowland, Awakenings, Time Warp and performed by Charlotte De Witte, Lilly Palmer, Amelie Lens, Enrico Sangiuliano, Regal, Trym and many others.
In 2024 Frankye debut on Armada, Doof, Revealed and Extatic. Frankyeff e is ready to release a lot of music for 2025. Already signed new releases on Revealed, other new important collabs with Talla 2XLC, Markus Schulz, Mauro Picotto, Marnik, Motvs, Alessandra Roncone and new releases on Riot. This years’s summer also marked his debut at Hi Ibiza!
