Witnessed and captured on camera what I believe to be the same UFO seen by a pilot a few weeks prior. I had read the article posted by Country 107.7 WGNA FM (wgna.com) about two pilots flying near Fort Edward back on August 1st, at around 4am when they witnessed what they described as a green cigar or more “cigarette” shaped green light flying near Fort Edward, in Glens Falls, NY area.
I’ve been filming and taking photos of the night sky for the past month and caught 4 images of what I believe to be the same green cigarette shaped UFO the pilots reported back on August 1st. The picture are from 8:55pm last night, August 27th, about 15-20 miles west of Fort Edward, NY. I have 4 images taken within 5 seconds of each other. You can see in the photos in the top right corner as the light moves across the sky from Northeast to Southeast. A little editing of the close up shows a little bit of a dome which appears slightly blue in the photo. I took these photos on my iPhone and will say I had exposure slightly up to get a better image of the night sky. That could account for some of the length of the object, however, I don’t believe you would see such consistency with the 4 images of the light moving as it does in the photos.

The fact that the pilot made the point to describe it as more of a cigarette shape makes me believe that I captured the same object or light they saw. Only 15 miles west of Fort Edward this is not the first time I have seen unusual lights, however, it was the first of this size and color.
