    Fun fact on the Triangle.

    It was actually discovered by Williamina Flemming who noticed it on photographic plates in 1904. (She worked for Pickering, who was a Director at Harvard at the time) She mentioned it as a Triangular wisp.

    This is why most of the amateur astronomers I talk to have taken to calling it “Flemming’s Triangular Wisp” when referring to it these days.
