Why not both? Extra dimensional and evolved creatures.

Some Christians feel the need to reinterpret everything through the lens of Christian theology. That’s basically the only reason they’re desperate to believe these beings are interdimensional angels/demons. If they didn’t have to reinterpret everything through the lens of their theology, they would just call these beings for what they are.

Religious fanatics are the real danger here.

If aliens came here and said anything about spirituality, other than what suits the beliefs of any of the main religions, they would be attacked and demonised!
People would be told not to trust them because they don’t believe in Jesus or Mohammed.

Sounds like Protestant nonsense. American evangelicals no doubt.

When you are indoctrinated into the Christian religion, that is the lense that you view every other thing in this world through. I see brothers and sisters that incarnated in different planets, and soul as our natural state, they see demons and control systems. Go figure

There is no substantial evidence of any sentience yet. All we have is the possibility of an unidentified object. Even if we are sure that an unidentified object exists of unknown origin, that still doesn’t provide evidence of sentience. For all we know the thing could be made by humans from the future.
