I checked out the link and pictures that tlmbot wrote in this thread, namely picture number 300, and downloaded the full raw images of 1.3 GB each: https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/1t7770z/photos_from_the_surface_of_the_moon_apollo_12/

And I found stuff on all of those images before and after too. Here is from image 298, and from picture 300. Made in the style of the "NASA UAP release".

Aren’t these just results of the camera and picture just like the rest of them? Just wondering tbh

Can someone look at AS11-38-5596? There’s something extremely odd going on with the asteroid looking “artifacts” in it. It’s the weirdest one of the archive I’ve seen.

These are consistently only present in the corners of these pictures, and have a smudgy appearance. Considering the extremely bright conditions both inside and out of the capsule, I would imagine these images are prone to having artifacts in the lens as well as the film.

I see many people try to connect these to anecdotes made by the crew, but if these are supposed to be what they saw, one would imagine they’d capture them in the center of the frame, zoomed in as opposed to populating the margins of unrelated images. And if I am to believe that such images exist but were hidden, one would think they simply wouldn’t show any related images.
