The video spans 3 hours from 13:00-16:00 UTC on May 10, 2026.

After a few days of being stable, AR 4436 located in the northeast quadrant just erupted with an M5.7 solar flare peaking at 13:39 UTC.

A nice coronal mass ejection (CME) is emerging following the M5.7 solar flare today around AR 4436. The majority of the plasma cloud is heading to the east, however it appears that the edge of CME could be Earth directed. If so, a glancing blow will be possible within the next 48-72 hours.
