The Greenville Lady Comets have been assigned to the Illinois High School Association Class 1A regional at Carlinville.
There are only four teams in the regional.
The semifinal games are Tuesday, May 19. At 4:30 p.m. it will be Carlinville against Olney Richland County, and the Lady Comets battle Pana at 6:30 p.m.
The two winners play at 5 p.m. Friday, May 22 for the championship. The regional champ advances to the Litchfield Sectional on May 26.
Greenville and Carlinville played twice during the regular season. Both games were close with Carlinville winning by one goal in each contest.
