President Donald Trump keeps repeatedly promising a big UFO disclosure. Former President Barack Obama says it’s not going to happen.

Back in mid-April, Trump said he would be releasing files from a Pentagon study on UFOs “very, very soon.”

“We found many very interesting documents, I must say,” Trump said. “And the first releases will begin very, very soon. So, you can go out and see if that phenomenon is correct.”

Since then, hardly a day has gone by without the topic being mentioned by either Trump or the media. However, no UFO or alien files have been released. It’s gotten so frustrating for some that even a Congresswoman has called out the Pentagon for not doing what the President has been promising for weeks.

Last week at a White House event celebrating NASA astronauts, Donald Trump was still making promises about the disclosure of UFO-related files.

“We’re going to be releasing a lot of things that we haven’t,” Trump said. “I think some of it’s going to be very interesting to people.”

Barack Obama says there won’t be any big UFO revelations coming from the United States government

On Monday, former President Barack Obama appeared on the soon-to-be-shuttered Late Show with Stephen Colbert. During his interview, one of the topics was what UFO and alien files Donald Trump will be releasing.

“Here’s the thing: For those of you who still think that we’ve gotten little green men underground somewhere, one of the things you learn as President is the government is terrible at keeping secrets,” Obama said.

“This idea of conspiracy theories, if there were aliens or alien spaceships or anything under the control of the United States government that we knew about, seen, photographs, what have you … I promise you some guy guarding the installation would have taken a selfie with one of the aliens and sent it to his girlfriend to impress her. There would be leaks.”
