Recently got into astronomy, and thought it would be interesting to try and get an image of the sombrero with my phone using AstroShader. This was taken phone-to-glass in a bortle 7 (yuck) using an 8” 2032mm celestron telescope. The contrast isn’t great, the sharpness isn’t great, and the definition (believe it or not)—isn’t great. I don’t care though, I’m new to this and can only improve!
Still have a TON more practice (and gear) to go, but i’m very happy with my first ever astronomy photo.
