Iโve been thinking about our impact on the planet lately and created this short visualization of what happens the moment weโre gone. From concrete jungles turning back into actual jungles to the air finally clearing up.
โIt feels both beautiful and terrifying. What do you think would be the first thing to fail without us?

I donโt see how it wouldnโt be. Earth thrived to the point of evolving humanity and it did it without humanity. Weโve been destroying it since.
Probably a lot of industrial sites spiralling out of control, potentially starting wildfires that fill the air with spicy smoke for the first bit.
Domesticated animals would be the msot likely to suffer. Natural predators moving into areas formerly occupied by humans would be an issue. Some plant life that is protected by pesticides and herbicides would be impacted.
earth will prosper, until earth fails.
Our greatest works amount to crusted gray scabs spreading across the surface of the earth

AI slop video. Goodness, please don’t do that – you don’t care about the environment at all if you are still using AI.
“Better off” is a human judgement that would make no sense absent humanity to make it.ย
The Earth wouldn’t exist because there would be no observer.
Earth doesn’t care. Its not living.
Robots and AI will replace us within 10 years, climate change doesn’t matter. Humans are too costly, I expect Terminator to happen
Other than unmaintained nuclear powerplants melting down, yes, it would be better.
