Local spots ‘UFO’ at night in Sussex
In Bognor Regis, Sussex, a person spotted a mysterious, bright “orange orb” lighting the night sky, which then disappeared.
The strange sighting happened on April 2 near 10 pm, and the object, according to The Argus, hovered over the witness for around 40 seconds, then vanished in thin air – yet it briefly reappeared and later was gone.
Local, baffled by the eerie experience, reported the incident to the National UFO Reporting Center.
In the person’s testimony, the orb was motionless in the sky, at 45 degrees above the horizon, which, in turn, cast a glow in the surrounding clouds.
Interesting, this is not a one-off incident in the UK.
Over 1,500 UFO sightings have been reported between 2020 and 2023 in the country. Sussex, notably, recorded several sightings across its towns in Rye, Hastings, and Eastbourne.
Across the pond, the eerie sighting comes as U.S. President Donald Trump announced he would release a batch of UFO files that have previously not been made public.
“We are going to be releasing as much as we can in the near future. I think some of it’s going to be pretty interesting,” he says while talking to reporters at the White House.
