David Grush: "There's truly anomalous signatures in the skies. The U.S. government understands it represents a form of sentient nonhuman intelligence. I know that sounds very Star Trek, a la Gene Roddenberry and Rod's dad's sci-fi series, but it is true.
David Grush: "I want the American public to be comforted that the universe is teeming with life, it seems, and readily able to be explored. The U.S. government does have a lot of information that I think will inspire Gen Alpha and Gen Z and the American populace at large and it will be a new era.
David Grush: "It will be a little uncomfortable; there'll be some truths that are a hard pill to swallow but I think it's ultimately a good thing to get this out there. I think the people of the world and the American public will be very happy to understand their place in the universe so to speak without sounding too much like Carl Sagan."

Sad that I’ll probably die before seeing what an advanced alien society and environment of different planets looks like because of greedy fucks in power. Imagine how amazing it would be to see the the biology, plants, different life forms etc what a beautiful insane thing to be able to witness
People today are so used to all kinds of sci-fi scenarios regarding humanity’s origin/fate that I can’t imagine anything that would be “a hard pill to swallow”.
