I’m a medium. It doesn’t happen often, but it feels more like a forced auditory thought as it’s not physical. It’ll happen for mundane reasons, in a calm state. I’ll be reading an obituary and hear “that was me!” It’s never something like “I’m Carl, I was a banker.” It’s always short blurbs. Sometimes I’ll hear deceased family comment on things I’m doing. I’d be less successful with it if I was trying to make it happen. It works on its own. It’s not frightening, not schizo, but it is more alarming when it’s yelly, boomy or just super clear. Sometimes it’s not that clear.

It’s all the same, clairsentience in different forms. It’s not a super power, and not something that can be wielded like one. It comes and goes, but it’s happened thousands of times for me by now over the last 20 years.

Auditory communication is limited. Thoughts are less limited. You can tell when someone is lying, and you can tell that I’m not. The brain just knows. If you think I’m lying it’ll only highlight the doubt that you’ll be working through over the next decade.

Garner your own experiences in the mentally weird. You’ll be glad you did.
