Ok, so last night, early morning actually, I go out to walk my dog at about 4am. I'm in Colorado near the Denver metro area. And as I'm walking around I look to the south and I see two bright orange lights that look to be a few hundred yards away. They're low, about 5° off the horizon due south from my position. At first, I thought they might have been drones because of the way they moved. It was sorta back and forth in quick movements, and sometimes up and down. But as I'm watching these things, they stopped looking like drones due to the brightness of the lights, and the lateral range they were operating in.

I dragged my dog back in and grabbed my phone. It's a Samsung S26 Ultra that I just got, and I'm sorry to say I'm not a great videographer. This was the first time I used the camera, and I'm not familiar with the controls yet. I'm also disabled and my shoulders and back are in rough shape. But, I shot probably 20-30min or so of video, and while it's definitely not great, I was able to capture some good segments that clearly depict what I was looking at. I also got some decent still shots showing what I saw.

I was looking at two objects. Both were bright orange, produced no noise whatsoever, and moved in strange ways that ultimately led to my rejection of them as drones. Given the time span they operated in, they would have to have been high-end industrial drones based on what I learned about the maximum operating duration on one charge. These objects were flying for well over 45min by the time I went back in the house, and they didn't indicate that they were planning on ending their flight. Consumer drones can only fly for 20-30min max on a single charge. I suppose it's possible they were the high-end industrial drones, but that doesn't make sense either because I live a rural area with lots of farms and I don't know who would be flying two high-end industrial drones at 4am over my area. And the fact that they didn't make any noise also leads me to conclude that they weren't drones.

Oh, and there was a 3rd object that was monitoring one of the objects; a much smaller purple orb. I'm a total loss as to what the little purple orb could have been, but it was definitely related to the bigger orange objects even though it arrived much later than them. So, I'm going to post a few of the snapshots that will give you an idea of what I saw, and I'll make a follow-up post with the videos a little later because I've got to process the videos and strip the exif data from them. But I'll have them posted this evening. Lemme know what you think about the objects in the pics.
