Pretext: Some people claim to have been able to instigate a UFO sighting. Additionally, there's CE5, Jake Barbers Skywatcher/USA testimony and other known references to the concept. This post is being made by the wrong person; I have tried to instigate a UFO sighting about 8 times over a large time frame and have been successful only twice. Neither of those two are within the last 5 years. As always, you should be mindful of individual testimony as I would be if I saw this post.
Lastly, what precedes is my my own method and understanding, again, it clearly isn't great because I've had limited success. I am not familiar with CE5 or any other technique so any parallels are coincidental.
High level framework
The way to achieve a sighting is not just a list of instructions but rather a list of instructions that rely on or assume other things are in place first. For example to a chef, the instructions to make an apple pie is one sentence. To an amateur the list of instructions to make an apple pie is much larger and detailed. And to carl segan, the instructions to make an apple pie can take billions of years
The high level framework below shows the "chefs steps" and then we later can go into details on some of the specifics.
-
Attain a very high level deep meditative body/mind state
-
Tune or craft your spiritual "persona/avatar" to be one that's ready, welcoming and pure
-
Formalise your readyness by emitting intent to be "receptive to visitors"
-
Practically guide them to you in the universe (easy part)
Important: This is what's given me 20% success. By the way, the 80% of the time it didn't work, is because I knew that I had failed to do the first step. So I knew it would fail. There isn't a time I have been fully confident with step 1 and NOT had a sighting.
"High level Meditative state"
There are perhaps thousands of techniques, spiritual teachings or disciplines which exist to help one reach this state. Some people need to dedicate 100% of their lifestyle, energy and time to, in order to achieve it. Others, can probably achieve this within 15 minutes of reading this post. The difference between these two people are their ability to navigate bias and cultivate a confident, open mindset without fear.
If we imagine an analogy of martial arts, each martial art once thought their art was triumphant over the others. Karate masters one perhaps thougt Karate was the best combat sport, Wushu masters might have felt similarly, then there's other like ju-jutsu. This is similar to the spiritual teachers who claim to guide you into this meditative state "follow me, follow my religion, culture or technique, buy my book".
Over time, the martial arts fought eachother for so long, it became clear which was better than another and most people practice "mixed martial arts" which is a combination of many of them in one style. This post will continue from this point, referring to the instructions as "mixed-meditative-arts" rather than referencing books or teachings.
Body instructions:
-
These can differ per person so please exercise your preference here
-
Laying is best for most people, but doing so without a blanket or something else that tells your body this is different from sleep. Some very mild discomfort like lack of weight on top of you.
-
Do not move, if it is essential for your comfort you may move. Some adjustment time may be required after
- Practice probing your awareness (referred to now as probing). Do this right now with me. Be aware of the feeling of your tongue, notice it touches other parts of your mouth. Keeping your awareness here for a little while and explore the sensation which you don't usually do. There's no right or wrong. You can stop following along now. Most people need to follow "probing" to reach a rest state, outlined in the next step
-
Probing can be done on the toes, feet, lower legs, knees, thighs, groin, lower torso, upper torso, hands, arms shoulders, back, neck, face and tip of the head. At each stage, linger long enough not to pass over it, connect each time and use the oppertunity to issue a "rest at this location" command, such as being mindful to relax or release tension at each stage
-
Once probing is complete, you can stay "probed" in one area for now usually your default state. This might be full body or in the head.
Mind instructions:
-
This activity should singularly enjoy your absolute full attention. Some think that this is impossible, as the mind naturally wanders. To solve this, we invite the "process" of the mind wandering and then calling it back to you to be a part of the instructions. So we don't say "stay focused", that's impossible. Instead we say "enter the process of focus, gently calling it back when you notice it wonder". Most people will linger in this process and this process has been heavily linked to things like mindfulness and other techniques. It is a great mental exercise so if you stay here for an hour and achieve nothing else, do not be discouraged. You've exercised and trained your brain in an extremely healthy and beneficial way which will increase your chances next time.
-
During the parts of the focus process, where you control your focus, the rest of the steps outline what to do with that focus.
-
Default state: When you're doing nothing, perhaps between stages or find yourself resting for a moment. You should ideally be thinking of nothing. As "thinking of nothing" is impossible for most people, instead you will be thinking of thinking of nothing, or "trying to think of nothing" or perhaps just "discarding thoughts". That's all fine.
-
Beginner only: If this concept is new to you or you're struggling. Beginners can use this stage to explore and familiarise. The best way to do this, is to imagine a place that isn't your main home. It can be a school, a previous house or a friend or partners house. Simply, imagine walking around in that place. Walking between the rooms or simply looking around in one of them. It isn't important how you do this and there's no wrong way. Being acive is important, sending out intent such as deciding where to look or move to is best. For fun you can walk through walls or pop your head through the floor and peer below.
-
Intermediate and beginner only: Once a level of comfort and familiarity is achieved. We call back to our "probing" from earlier. We probed different parts of the body and experienced being there. Now we're going to use that as a primary next stage. This next stage is to challenge your usual awarness
-
continued: find your awareness and probe with it. You may find your usual awareness is in your head, for example, "peering behind your eyelids" and your are eye-focused. Or you may feel more in your heart or full body. You can do lots of things. The goal is to explore. One is to slightly focus your eyes as if you're looking diagonally up, not too much that it strains you, just enough to feel a very small strain or effort. This will center your awarness/probing into a small space in your body. Conversely, you can try to probe the middle of your skull which is odd and hard and may take a long time. In just trying to achieve this "spot" is good enough, you don't need to "Arrive there". Lastly, you can explore by trying to "disperse" your probe of awareness to your entire body. This means not focusing on any one area in particular, try to feel the sensation of the entire body being your "point of focus".
-
continued: Lastly, play with your awareness and challenge it. Adopt a whimsical childlike curiosity. Can you remove this awareness? Can you have this awarness without it being attached to the body? What is that awareness, how big is it? Can you expand it? Can you shrink it? Can you expand it to the biggest you can conceive? Are you now in space and see planets? Can you expand it again, and again? Operate and play however you like. You should be exploring being a conscious experiencer, who's having a non-body-based experience. The magic of your awareness is that it can take any form, it need not be imprisioned in the realm of flesh, sight, hearing, and feeling.
-
master: For those comfortable, they can explore conscious experience separated from their body's concepts or perceptions. This is where I am less confident, but once I achieve this state, I have 100% had a sighting, so read on. This state is a forkroad with ulimited doors infront of you, you may chose to never come back to your body and explore what that means. You may wish to undergo complete spiritual development. You may enter perspectives otherwise gated behind drugs like DMT, you can lucid dream here and probably attempt remove viewing or something.
-
To continue on and achieve a sighting, here is what works. There have to be a few core concepts you embody (this is what the framework refers to as "persona or avatar").
-
Concept 1: Humility and openness. The idea is now that you are going to be in a "room" with entities which far exceed your level of experience here. As they look at you, you are bare, your preconceptions, your "front" your projected self, any false persona or ego, anything you hide from yourself, any unresolved issue you brought with you are all on display. It doesn't matter how riddled or complex you are. What it important is that under this hypothetical "gaze" you feel confident. "This is who I am, I am imperfect, but I am willing and my intention now is of peace, warmth and openness. I am not fearful". Try to "emanate" this openness as if you're presenting an open book and the core of "you" is exposed. Don't complicate things, or feel the need to delve deep. It's who and how you feel you are right now that matters. Whilst holding on to what you are, be open and unafraid. Put aside strategy or competition and remain open and passive.
-
Concept 2: Be nothing. Whilst you are very mindful that you operate a sense of volition and experience unique to you, a you which is heavily relevant for concept 1, you are also not you. In concept 2, we continue the probing concept before, but now we expand it to be outside of what constituted as "you". To do this isn't a technique of leaving behind your body or growing outward, nor learning something new. Rather it is about returning to a deeper state, disolving your awareness or letting go of it. It's about unlearning. You don't have to achieve complete singularity and disappear like the famous spiritual figures. Just dabble here and feel that belonging to the "background ether" or whatever it is that fills your awareness when you let go of any probe which was attached to a self.
-
Concept 3: Confidence. No matter who you are, how smart you feel, how disciplined you are, how in shape you are, how kind or moral you are. It doesn't matter, everyone deserves to be here, to come here. To be here only requires that NOW you are open, NOW you are vulnerable and peaceful and welcoming. That NOW you have no agenda or strategy or overt intent. You must be confident that you feel you're allowed to be here, and there's no earthly reason you cannot.
-
Concept 4: Call out. It's just a subtle invitation or plea. You just need the intention of "please come". Invite and formally giver permission. Imagine you walked into a really-really progressive hair salon where the staff wont touch you until you allow them to. Humans are delicate and volatile. It's essential for contact that you make formal invitation.
-
Practice rotating between these 3 concepts. Don't get stuck in trying to do each one at once, or rotating between them in too formal or rigid method. Just dance between them, lingering and exploring each one. The idea that you can be "nothing" but also "you" at the same time isn't something you're used to being possible. But here, anything is possible. Again, always, you don't need perfection. These are just concepts you should embrace and represent. Precision isn't important. You're a noobie here, a newborn chick flapping its wings not knowing what they are, a deer baby unable to stand yet.
-
Business time: Once you've eminated these concepts you may feel that a formal visitor has acknowledged you, or not. You don't need to imagine them walking over, it doesn't need to be visual, it can be subtle. Maybe too subtle to notice. It's a little like bait at the end of a fishing rod, you can't quite tell if there's a bite. Once you decide to, or feel inclined to, or feel presence outside yourself. Try to wheel them in.
Practical steps:
Once you're in the right state in body and mind with the right concepts, the actual technique is very easy. But also easy to mess up. The following steps are explained visually, but you shouldn't get caught in the complexities of trying to "picture" things perfectly. What you need to do, is take your visitor and guide them down to your location on earth.
More detailed instructions are, where you were when you were practising your concepts. Intuit that as "a place" it could be in another realm or another concept of space entirely. It doesn't matter, and your visitor wont care. You just need some concept of that "place". Now from that "place" imagine it is floating in space outside the earth (like a satelite, or the border between the realms, however you want) and as you look down, you see your continent as if a picture from space. The you slowly wizz down as if you're zooming in on google-earth until you find your location.
The important thing is that the journey makes sense to you and that you make note of any major landmarks. You don't need to picture it all clearly, so don't worry if you're non visual. You aren't actually standing in space and zooming down with a new friend, this is all just conceptual and an abstraction. What matters is that you find you way down to your location and specific landmarks like a river, building or something near hour house really helps. So if you like, checkout your location on google maps now to build those landmarks.
Once you arrive here, you may feel confident and you can now acknowledge your body and go look outside or into the sky. If you're not confident, feel free to repeat the steps. It is not always easy to return to that deep spiritual state.
This is how I have achieved two genuine sightings. This is a bad guide, apologies.
Ending thoughts
The "beginner/intermediate" steps are only needed if you feel they apply to your current familiarity and skill. I have done what I accuse others of, which is "provide a technique", so feel free to stretch or deviate from these instructions as you like. There's no empirical way to reach the meditative state, but generally, one who fails it, often overcomplicates it.
Remember, achieving the state required is a journey of releasing and forgetting bias or overt reliance or familiarity with conscious experience attached to being in a wake-state body. To reach this state is to return to it, for we have all been here before and one of the feelings you will find is one of long remembrance.
The best chance of success is to go in with the expectation you will do it. There's no good reason you can't. There's no concept of someone more "spiritual" or "deserving". This place is a BASIC right for any conscious being that you're entitled to.
