    I used to despise Avi Loeb for all of his multitude of claims that every single damn comet that enters our solar system is an alien ship, until I learned that the media, has been completely misrepresenting him.

    NO, he didn’t claim that 3i/Atlas was an alien ship, AT ALL. Nor is he claiming that 41P is an alien ship. He claimed that, if extra solar alien ships where to pass through our system, then this is how they would move. It’s a different idea entirely. In other words, it’s not about comets moving like alien ships, it’s about alien ships moving like comets. One doesn’t necessarily equal the other.

    I’ve found a new respect for Avi since the Why Files interview with him, but I really wish people would stop twisting his words.

    genuinely i want people to stop clicking on articles mentioning this guy, he’s just getting paid for clicks and any goodwill he had in the scientific community is completely gone.
