Hey guys, so I was going down another rabbit hole, doing some more research into history looking into some of the geological anomalies in the Indian Ocean, and it turns out scientists literally found pieces of an ancient, sunken super-continent down there.
It instantly made me think of all those old myths about Lemuria or Kumari Kandam. Mainstream history always told us those were just crazy fairy tales made up by ancient people. But now we have actual geological proof that massive landmasses really did sink right where the myths said they were.
I made a quick video breaking it down of the sunken continent and how it ties into the legends if anyone wants to check it out here: [https://youtu.be/Q2foW88qTok](https://youtu.be/Q2foW88qTok)
What do you guys think? Is it just a massive coincidence, or were the ancients actually passing down stories of a real place before it sank? Any new evidence or information of any truth to this please comment.

Simply no.
Because there are NO myths or legends about Lemuria. It was created as part of a thought experiment to explain fossil distribution, which was later proven incorrect by plate tectonics.

Nope. Lemuria is debunked, and the formation under the Indian Ocean is just continental remnants due to well-understood continental drift.
Lemuria was never an ancient crazy fairy tale; it was a 18th century hypothesis to explain why lemur fossils were found on India and Madagascar but not in continental Africa. Plate tectonics explains that.
