The words have different meaning though.
Are they demons/angels pretending to be aliens? Are they aliens viewed as demons by ancient people? Are they someone who pretends to be a demon/angel/alien?

There are entities much older, much more terrifying than any avatar of God imagined by a unremarkable species on a floating rock, orbiting an average star, somewhere in the arm of a spiralling galaxy, in an universe of millions.
You can call them demons if that’s how you reconsile humans not being at the apex of intellect and advancement, but that doesn’t make it so.
