Hello!

After repairing my HEQ5 Pro mount a few days ago, I wanted to test it out. This was captured in Melbourne, Victoria, and the moon was at near full. I’ve never captured a mosaic before and really wanted to try it out. Luckily, the Carina Nebula is one of the brightest and largest DSO’s in Australia’s night sky. This meant I only needed 2.5 hours per panel to get decent results. I didn’t lean to hard on the processing as I wanted the final image to be kind of “flowy” if you know what I mean.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this image as much as I have enjoyed capturing it!
