They compared 3D scans of ancient vases from the Petrie museum (Petrie's private collection) with modern machined and modern handmade ones (using hand tools).

(This is the alternative history team of Matt Beall and physicist Fomitchev-Zamilov, who UnchartedX visited in Florida.)

"From the total quality chart in Fig. 10, we can derive two important conclusions:

  1. Modern machine-made objects are clearly distinguishable from the contemporary handmade and predynastic Egyptian stone vessels.
  2. The predynastic Egyptian stone vessels are clearly handmade, as the total quality contours for the predynastic objects (blue) are virtually indistinguishable from those of modern handmade objects (red)."

Meaning so far all the scans of the ancient vases have not indicated any advanced lost high tech.

Maybe there are more precise ones in other museums, but we don't know that. It would be just speculation.

  1. What kind of tools were used for the handmade vases? I’m wondering if “handmade” includes things like rudimentary lathes, or would that fall under machining?
