Saturn’s rings form a giant dusty doughnut encircling the planet

I read this title as “Saturn’s rings formed from a giant dusty donut encircling planet” and am extremely disappointed now. 😂

I wonder if this shape is due to objects being ejected from the central plane.

Also, I had no idea that the ring extends vertically by 10 meters. It’s paper thin!
