I didn't know I needed to include this information before posting my last post, so it was removed. I hope it goes through smooth this time. It's been a 20 year long question for me and my family to discover what it may be.

A star or a plane
Tell us location before this get’s removed again lol. I too like the satellite idea but the 20 year consistency is very odd.
it really can’t be a plane if you see it all the time. it must be some kind of geo stationary satellite.
Have you tried downloading stellarium on your phone and then pointing at it to see if anything shows up? they have a pretty good catalog of satellites that could help you ID it.
