These images were shared in a comment within another thread here (the 4Chan gym-shirt thread) and were interesting enough (IMO) to warrant their own thread.
Seeing these the other day were the first I’ve ever seen them in a few years of seeing and reading “4Chan Alien” threads – so many of the usually-posted images are bad photoshops and general memery.
Some of these photoshops were meant to describe “this isn’t the photo, just my attempt to re-create & describe what I saw before the site went down” – and if you believe the lore, some of the images posted were meant to flood the zone and erode any confidence that anything “real” was ever posted. Know Your Meme debunked the main “this is it” photo that has the blue-pixelation overlay.
But again – I’ve never seen these images before. I’m not saying these are real or that there was ever an authentic photograph posted, just that some image of some provenance (or lack thereof) was the genesis of all this lore and perhaps this is it?
Anyone there on the boards in February 2017 that can confirm?

I’m sorry but if you look at the 2nd picture and can’t *immediately* tell it’s fake I worry for you. Genuinely.
They always mess up the delts, absolutely faked.
Vortigaunts in HL2 are more realistic than this picture.

Is this unreal engine? Lighting looks a bit like it.
Looks like an Easter egg in RDR2
No, this isn’t it
Why are we even talking about photos like this? This looks like the cover of a new Time Crisis game every time it gets posted.
Thanks for posting. I love anything around this myth.
Looks like a mod for Fallout 4.
I’ve heard about the 4chan alien picture and how crazy it was and how memorable it is and and all the details and all that other stuff.
My question is this, if the image was so easy to recall the details of, why has anybody who saw it drew it for themselves or something like that?
Wouldn’t it kind of help the search for the original or prove that it ever existed anyway?
