A large meteor burned up over Moscow at 6:23 AM today.
Experts from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory explained that the characteristic green glow is most likely caused by the presence of nickel, one of the most common elements in iron meteorites.
Cool, I think it would be nice to see one by myself one day.

Beauty. Green lantern is here. Lucky to see one this large. If the perseids, orionids, etc had debris like this I’d go back to craning my neck for hours to watch them.
