I stumbled across this story after watching a Zack D. Films short. Thought I would make a post about it here since I cannot find it getting much attention here on Reddit. If you want the longer version here is a link to a video that properly tells it:

If you want a quick rundown tho, basically it is about this doctor that makes these hightech glasses/goggles that allow the blind to see and the nonblind to see much better. He did this because his daughter is basically blind. They work and everything is kino for a while, but eventually she starts seeing their world for how it really is. And it really is a stomach of an eldrich entity and humanity is getting digested. Apparently it has us in an illusion/dream to make the process easier or something. Then she rips out her own eyes out of sheer horror and her father goes missing.
I looked into more and it is hard for me to find a definitive origin of this story. It might be a creepypasta, but I still think there is something to this story. Apparently it got popular enough to warrant several news articles about it. And it seems to be popular on Tiktok but not YouTube for some reason. I heard that the images are AI(pic of this post is not really related) but the story honestly sounds like a decent Lovecraft story, not AI slop. Also keep finding several non related doctors named Robert Miller, which is also weird. Snopes says the whole thing is bunk tho, but you know how trustworthy Snopes is.
What do you guys think about this story? Is it a creepypasta? Is it real? Anyone have any similar experiences with them realizing that they are getting eaten?

I mean, it’s awfully kind of the eldritch entity to create a pleasant illusion for We the Digesting.
If it was real, nothing would functionally change for any of us, so I guess it’s a neat thought experiment, if nothing else
I think this is prob fake but more importantly it’s prob more wholesome than reality
