Eyewitness and human testimony are really too unreliable at times. People don’t know what they’re looking at, and even basic memory recollection from something that happened just a few seconds ago come sometimes already be spotty.
If anyone knows how to find out what the weather was like during the sighting, please let me know.. If it happened to be raining that day it could also add it being a soaked owl, which would make it look much thinner. Google what a wet owl looks like, they look very different than you’d expect an owl to look like.
