    1. Alleged – Lockheed-USAF Flying Disc – 1960’s, No known designation or project name for this aircraft exists.
    2. Confirmed – Vought V-173 “Flying Flapjack” – 1943, Vertical takeoff and landing vehicle.
    3. Confirmed – USAF T-588/T-599 LRV, Lenticular reentry vehicle concept for nuclear warhead delivery.
    4. Confirmed – Avro Canada – USAF Project 1794 – 1950’s, also referred to as Project Y-2 and WS-606A.
    5. Confirmed – Avro Canada – USAF/US Army – 1950’s, VZ-9 “Avrocar” also referred to as AV-7055.
    6. Confirmed – BMW – Nazi Flugelrad – 1940’s, was designed but never actually saw production.
    7. Alleged – Mark McCandlish ARV “Fluxliner”, scant information, no photographs that we know of exist of this craft.
    8. Confirmed – USAF Hypersonic Saucer “Pye Wacket”, defensive weapon for B-70 Valkyrie bomber.
    9. Confirmed – Patented concept “The Discopter” – 1940’s, patented by Alexander G. Weygers, US2377835A
