Saw this flickering and moving slowly, at first thought it was a plane but then I zoomed in… Posted this right after I captured it.

That is an out of focus light. Here is a person who probably has the same exact phone as you: https://np.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/17wdyog/camera_glitch_or_something_else/

You’ll get different shapes of the out of focus lights depending on the camera used. Go out and film a bright star at night, or a streetlight or whatever. If you can get it so it’s out of focus, you’ll see the same effect. My favorite example of this is the diamond/hexagon-shaped “UFOs.”

I saw this facing South at approximately 9:00 am. MST. I’ve seen some odd things in the past but have never been able to capture them. This stood out because of its brilliance and odd movement. Maybe it’s just the effect from my camera lens at 30x zoom. Could be something, could be nothing. The shape and radiance of the light are the primary reasons I posted. Weird seeing light bend into a rectangle of brilliance vs. a circle.

There were no visible obstructions, it was in a wide open sky. It’s still present as I write this now. I noticed some immediate similar posts to this. Has this type of UAP been debunked/verified by the community?

Thank you all for your time and attention to this. It is incredible to see the frequency of sightings through this subreddit and community. The truth is out there ⭐

  3. Thanks for the still image! It’s amazing that in 2023 we have this technology! I couldn’t imagine any other type of recording method that would really capture the detail that this still image does. Fascinating stuff.
