Earlier this month, Nebraska’s Federal District Court ended a practice established in 2006, of allowing some illegal aliens living in the state to have the benefit of resident tuition.
During his monthly radio call-in show, Gov. Jim Pillen said, “It’s just common sense.”
“When we would have lifetime Nebraskans not having access to that, but yet, people that came here. It’s just wrong,” Pillen said. “That just shouldn’t happen anymore. So, level the playing field for all Nebraskans. It’s as simple as it gets.”
The governor’s radio call-in show airs each month on News Talk WJAG. The next one is scheduled for July 13.
