HARVARD ASTROPHYSICIST AVI LOEB SAYS FROM WHAT HE’S SEEN SO FAR, OF THE 161 FILES, THEY DON’T CONTAIN ANYTHING THAT PROVES EXTRATERRESTRIAL BEINGS HAVE VISITED EARTH. ONE OF THE NEWLY RELEASED REPORTS IS FROM THE AIR FORCE IN 1948, ABOUT A MAN ON BEACON HILL WHO SAW THREE FAST FLYING SINGLE ENGINE PLANES OVER THE CHARLES RIVER. HE SAID THE PLANES MADE NO SOUND AND CARRIED NO LIGHTS. ANOTHER IS A 1954 NEWS ARTICLE ABOUT THREE TWA PILOTS WHO SAY THEY SAW A LARGE, WHITE COLORED, DISC LIKE OBJECT FLYING ABOUT TEN MILES NORTH OF BOSTON. WHEN TOLD BY HIS BOSSES IT WAS LIKELY A WEATHER BALLOON, ONE OF THE PILOTS REPORTEDLY SAID, IT SOUNDS LIKE A COVER UP TO ME. ARE ALIENS REAL? THEY’RE REAL, BUT I HAVEN’T SEEN THEM. The documents and photos contain very little context, leaving the public to draw its own conclusions and interpretations.The Pentagon considers these files unresolved cases and says “the government is unable to make a definitive determination on the nature of the observed phenomena.” In February, President Donald Trump posted on social media, writing, “Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters.”The government plans to release additional files, but the timing of the next release is not known.
