It’s the whole reason I fell out of liking the guy. How can someone who makes science fun and interesting have such a glaring weakness for the possibility that we’re not alone on this planet/in this solar system.

He is correct. For years Neil would laugh at those ufo and ET comments from other ppl. He would literally go on tv and laugh. Especially w the whole 3Iatlas.

Is hearsay considered evidence?
When it comes to the uap videos there are important things a real skeptic who wants answers would consider.
1. They classified it in the first place. The government saw these vids which many think are balloons or birds, and decided to classify it. WHY? There are im sure tons of videos of birds caught on military survelience and it all gets deleted. Why classify these? They arent anything special as far as videos go. Why keep them?
2. Why are the instrumentation that correspond with the vids still classified? Those blocked off bits are the measurements that go along with the video. How big is the object, how far is it, how fast is it going, temperature of object vs temp of the air, how long its been tracked, coordinates of where the video is being filmed currently. All this info can make these videos go from mundane to mind blowing. However its still classified and we have to ask why?
It doesnt make sense to classify ballon videos and then keep the sensory data that proves its a bird or balloon classified after release. And yea the military has this info guys. These platforms are super advanced. I get not releasing all the info but the part about size and speed is a must.
