The Carroll Lady Cougars captured the Hoosier Heartland Conference softball championship Thursday evening with a 7-4 victory over the Rossville Hornets at Delphi High School. The conference title continued a strong postseason run for the Lady Cougars, who earned the HHC crown in the championship matchup May 21.
